FIRST VISIT EXPECTATIONS
First Visit Expectations:
If you’re like most patients, you appreciate being informed before arriving at the dentist. Below is an overview of what you can expect when visiting Joseph P. Nore DDS.
Let’s get to know each other.
Your first visit is not only about our team getting to know you, but also about you getting to know our team. In the time we spend together, we encourage you to ask questions, express your concerns, and share with us anything you want us to know to help make your care as individual as you are.
Before your visit, you will receive online patient forms to be completed prior to your appointment. These forms will be automatically submitted to your patient chart upon completion. Part of providing you with personalized support involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medications can influence your treatment protocols—so you will be asked to provide a list of your medications.
To ensure you are provided with the best experience and highest quality of care, we have invested in most advanced radiographic technologies available. Your visit may consist of a full mouth series of X-rays. X-rays are taken to determine the present status of your oral health and have a baseline to help identify any changes that may occur later.
You’re in good hands
After a gentle and refreshing cleaning with our hygienist team, you will receive a comprehensive exam of your teeth, gums, mouth, and jaws including a non-invasive oral cancer screening.
If you haven’t been to a dentist in a long while, no need to fear or worry. You’ve made an important decision. The best investment you can make is an investment in yourself. Our dentists, specialists, hygiene team, and staff are dedicated to providing you with an atmosphere where you’ll feel safe, secure and cared for.
Let’s get personal about your teeth
Once your entire exam is completed, our doctors will have a discussion with you about their findings. Together you can create a personal treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal needs. We know life is busy and going to the dentist can bring anxiety. This is your time and we are here to put you and your treatment first. Come in, recline, and unwind.
Let’s take care of you together.
