What is an implant? Dental implants are made up of titanium metal and other materials that are compatible with the human body. They are posts, in the shape of the root of a tooth, that gets surgically placed into the upper or lower jaw where they function as a solid anchor for replacement teeth.
Are implants right for me? Successful implant treatment starts with a thorough evaluation of your jaw, teeth, mouth and overall health. We may take a panoramic X-ray or a computed tomography 3-D (CT) scan. This will help us identify your bone, the shape of your sinuses, nerve locations to make accurate assessments for your treatment.
